So Mondays my day off from my full time role which brings in the regular pennies... I am usually making something and today it's sweet cinnamon glazed pretzels. Taken from my magazine subscription to 'Something Sweet' Water Yeast, bread flour and Sugar I have in my cupboard so let's start
After waiting 2 hours for the dough to rise I then cut into 24 similar sized balls. Rolled into a sausage and twisted to form the pretzel shape. These were then boiled in water with bicarb of soda added for just 30 seconds. placed into the oven until lightly golden. This is the result.
Glazed with a cinnamon sugar syrup... delicious.
